Appointments
Scheduling
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule, or perhaps offer an appointment to you with another provider.
Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Well Child Visits
The practice follows the well-child visit guidelines promoted by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We recommend frequent check-ups during infancy and yearly beginning at two years of age. These visits are important to assess growth and development, as well as to offer advice regarding safety and emotional issues that are an integral part of a healthy childhood.
We recommend you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child’s primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs
Sick Child Visits
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting.
Walk-Ins
All visits require an appointment. Unfortunately, we are unable to see your child if you walk in without an appointment. We will ask you to return later in the day if the schedule allows.
Breastfeeding Medicine Consultations
You can call to request an initial lactation consultation, or you may be referred by your provider. The initial lactation consultation can be combined with the Initial Newborn Check Up for your baby's first visit to LPG. As needed, an initial consult can be scheduled at a later time. Follow up lactation consults are scheduled for 30 minutes, as many times as is needed to meet your goals. If ongoing breastfeeding support is needed, our breastfeeding specialist can do the 2 Week Well Baby Check Up. You can schedule a visit at any time during your breastfeeding journey.
