- 84% of USA mothers initiated breastfeeding
- 46% exclusively breastfed through 3 months
- 26% exclusively breastfed through 6 months (2030 goal is 42%)
- 35% did some breastfeeding for 12 months (2030 goal is 54%)
- 57% did some breastfeeding for 6 months
- 19% of breastfed newborns got formula supplementation in the first 48 hours of life.
