Soapy or weird smelling breastmilk

Soapy smelling breastmilk

Lipase enzymes break down fat to fatty acids, which are then oxidized.
This prevents growth of bacteria but leaves a bad smell.
Freezing your milk at - 122 o F, instead of just - 4 o F, prevents the bad smell.
Heating milk will stop the lipase enzyme, and the smell, but heat deactivates good stuff too.
Most babies drink this milk, just as we eat smelly foods, like eggs, cheese, and fish.

Purulent, foul, stringy breastmilk

Throw it out.
