VIDEO: Burping and Reflux in newborns

Some babies don't need to burp.

Others will spit up even if they do burp.

Over time, you'll learn what your baby needs to do.

Don't interrupt a breastfeeding session to burp your baby.
But when he lets go, burping can wake him up to eat more for an optimal feeding session.

With bottles, interrupt the feeding for a burp every ounce or two.

The video below shows how to position your baby for burping.
