VIDEO - Pump flange fitting instructions

How to Fit Breast Pump Flanges

Flanges that fit your nipples properly will make pumping more comfortable and will optimize milk removal and thus milk supply.

Pump flanges range from about 15mm to 36mm, depending on the pump brand. You may need to purchase inserts if you are in between sizes.

Most pumps come with one or two of the most common sizes.

Determine your starting point by measuring the diameter of your nipples in millimeters (mm) with a standard ruler.
Over time, you may need to try a bigger or smaller flange size, as your nipples may change.
