Pediatrician in Lincoln, Nebraska
Dr. Danielle Saner ventured from her home town of Anchorage, Alaska, to pursue her passion in pediatric medicine. She received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Pacific Northwest University in Washington and was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Medicine Honors Society. She then moved to Nebraska with her husband Tim to complete her residency training at the University of Nebraska Medicine. Dr. Saner is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She served as an Assistant Clinical Professor for Creighton University School of Medicine.
Dr. Saner knew she wanted a career in medicine after obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Anchorage Alaska and working for a law firm that specialized in medical malpractice cases. She has experience teaching and coaching kids of all ages so pediatrics was the perfect fit. She enjoys building relationships, supporting and educating families, advocating for children, and creating a medical home. She chose general pediatrics because she loves all areas of medicine. Patients describe her as kind, outgoing, a good listener, nondiscriminatory, thorough, professional, provides excellent medical care, trustworthy, and patient. She has enjoyed sharing her love for the musculoskeletal system and treating the whole patient while still delivering the highest quality of medical care to her patients.
She has 2 sons, Ethan and Braden, plus an Australian Shepherd, Beckett. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, hiking, snowboarding, reading, spending time with family and friends, fishing, and traveling. She misses the mountains but loves her new community in Nebraska.
