Mikala was born in Iowa but raised Lincoln, NE. She attended Creighton University and earned her undergraduate BSN degree and  then completed her Doctorate degree in Pediatric Primary Care at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. With a lifelong passion for working with children, Mikala specialized in pediatrics and has been with Lincoln Pediatric Group since 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons, enjoys any outdoor activities, reading, and cooking.
