Dr. Rachel Schmitt grew up in Lincoln, attended Southeast High School (Go Knights!) and receive her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan. She studied medicine at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and finished her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in June of 2023. Fun fact, Dr. Schmitt has a twin brother that is also a physician. In her spare time, she enjoys classic films, traveling and reading.
Dr. Schmitt is a great addition to Lincoln Pediatric Group! She brings her calm, caring, and thoughtful personality, along with the experience and knowledge she has gained as a resident and servant leader throughout her education.
