Pediatrician in Lincoln, NE
 

Dr. Thomas Helms originally hails from Tucson, Arizona, but now considers himself to be an "adopted Midwesterner". He received his bachelor's degree from Ave Maria University in Florida before moving to the Midwest for medical school where he received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then moved to Nebraska where he completed his pediatric residency training through the combined program of University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Children's Nebraska in June of 2024. As a pediatrician, Dr. Helms is passionate about providing medical care that is evidence based and compassionate. 

He and his wife, Sidney, have three young children and they are happy to call Nebraska home. Outside of work, he enjoys lap swimming, playing tennis and pickleball, reading, experimenting with meats on his Traeger, being involved with his church, watching football, and ultimately spending time with his family and friends.
